Twilight by Nancy Pickard
61I couldn't write this, so I read it.
Twilight by Nancy Pickard. A 1995 paperback written by an extraordinary author. She is the writer of ten books in the Jenny Cain series along with countless other books. Nancy Pickard started writing at age thirty-five and is still going strong. Her latest book is The Scent of Rain and Lightning. She is an accomplished author with awards to compliment her shelves or walls or whereever she cares to display numerous Macavity awards, Agatha awards and the list goes on.
Jenny Cain is a founder, director of the Judy Foundation. She had experience from another foundation and went off on her own to start her own platform. The name Judy comes from a woman who didn't live long or happily enough. Jenny and her husband are likely adopted parents, sometimes of Judy's boy. He is well-meaning, but rough in talk. David is in and out of the Cain house, so even Jenny wonders is he camping out with them or not. As of lately, he is.
Jenny is trying to make heads or tails of how to support a deadly trail, the trail itself not being so dangerous than any other, but the highway that it crosses to.Lives are lost, lives are heart-broken and lives are battling to close the trail, to make it safe, to convert it to completely something else.
Read on about the makings of a festival, Jenny Cain's first at her own foundation, a tragic fire at an old time store, a robbery gone absolutely crazy at a house. You will care about some characters and be glad the evil ones will supposedly get their dues.
This is a terrific read on a stormy night or a not so stormy night. If you missed this one or have not as of yet read the Jenny Cain series, you will be glad when you pick up one of these books.

Sounds interesting. Bookmarking for future reference. Will give it a read when I can.
This book is evidently not the Twilight series about vampires and werewolves, which is what I immediately thought of when I saw your hub title. Regardless, you did a good job with this review, and thank you for the follow.

Sounds like a good book, but I'm not into reading at this time unfortunely.
